The Cavaranian was bred with the companionship of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Pomeranian in mind. You will love your Cavaranian’s playful and affectionate personality! With the genes of the Pomeranian, they can be a great watch dog or a very calm temperament like the Cavalier. They can be trusting, peaceful, and great with children. If you’re a first-time dog owner, definitely consider a Cavaranian! Their intelligence and devotion make them fairly easy to train, which is ideal for new dog owners.
To maintain their coat, brush them thoroughly every week. Wash mud or dirt away with a soft, damp cloth between baths. Expect to bathe your Cavaranian routinely as needed, and take them to a groomer for a trim if that is your preference.
