At Sugar Sweet Georgia Puppies, we do things differently. From selecting breeders to bringing puppies into our care, every step is designed to ensure the health, happiness, and socialization of our puppies – and peace of mind for our families.
Working With Trusted Breeders
We are extremely selective about the breeders we partner with. All breeders must meet strict standards:

Proximity: Less than 4 hours from Lawrenceville, GA.

No brokers: Breeders must not be pet brokers.

Whole litters: We take all siblings to reduce anxiety and support puppy wellness.

Careful evaluation: Breeders must allow us to pick up puppies so we can assess living conditions, parents, and overall environment.

How We Care for Puppies

Safe, gentle transport: Puppies are always picked up by our store owner and transported in an air-conditioned van. During the trip, they are spoken to, sung to, and kept comfortable.

Short travel distances: Puppies are never transported more than 4 hours to reduce stress, especially for small breeds.

Siblings together: Puppies are never separated from their littermates, helping them feel secure and easing the transition to a new home.

Local sourcing: Over 90% of our puppies are born in Georgia; a few come from the GA/TN border (always within 4 hours).
Veterinary Care & Observation

All puppies are checked immediately upon arrival by our on-staff veterinarians.

Our team includes 2 veterinarians, 3 vet techs, and 2 puppy care nurses dedicated to daily health and wellness checks.

Puppies are not for sale immediately. We observe and socialize each litter for 10 days to ensure health, comfort, and proper adjustment.

Daily socialization: Belly rubs, floor time, and interactive activities are part of every litter’s routine.
Nutrition & Ongoing Support

Puppies are fed premium dog food, and we provide recommendations for continued nutrition at home.

Every customer receives the store owner’s personal cellphone number. Our external vet will address minor issues free of charge, and serious concerns are covered by a free replacement puppy if necessary.
